Will the 3rd gen dodge ram 1500 headlight and/or taillights fit a 2nd gen dodge ram 1500? this is my first truck its a 2000 dodge ram 1500 5.9l v8 Laramie ext. cab but i want to install the 2002 headlight is it possible? to just install them without grinding or welding or cutting anything?

I'm not sure but I have heard a lot about the lights on a 3rd gen are useless. However the 06+ ones I don't know. If your just in it for the looks I imagine the front wont work due to the shape and probably different mounting but I don't have an answer. The poor lighting that I hear of may be something to think about though.

 

thanks i really just want the 3rd gen lights for the look. i saw the 3rd gen loghts with angel eyes hailos and they look great this is why im looking to see if they fit i kno w that the front bumper would have to change due to the shape of the light but thanks again

 

Here maybe this will help you. I asked the guy how he did it but didn't get an answer. I know for a fact that you will need a new front bumper.

me no my truck is just parked outside i don't know what problem it has but it doesn't switch gears the way its supposes to i took it to a transmission place and they changed the solenoids but still the same so im just saving up some money to get the whole transmission rebuilt.......if there is anything or if this problem has happened to anyone let me know what you did to fix it thanks
