Hi my name is Ernesto, I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup. I have a problem because i can smell the Exaust fuems really bad in the truck when the truck is on can anybody or does anybody know how to solve this issue, Also the truck seems to stutter when im driving whether i put regular gas or premium gas and i dont know what seems to be the issue can anybody help on that one as well, i would really appreciate it

 

Check your plenum. (see stickied thread at top of this forum.)

Is the Check Engine Lite on?

Is your exhaust loud? Got leaks?

I am guess what you are experiencing is a clogged cat, causing the exhaust to try and escape wherever it can.... either that, or holes in the pipes....
