i have a1998 ram 1500 last week the abs , seat belt ,brake lights came on and the speedometer quit working. i have checked the brake pads , shoes all are even . i am puzzled any sugestons. the truck has 58000 miles one owner

^^^^ Agreed... I had the same problem with mine last week. The abs light and brake light both came one and my speedometer started to crash and once I replaced the abs speed sensor all problems were solved. And a little tip for removal when you remove the speed sensor there are two nuts to remove before the speed sensor can be pried off. I had to learn the hard way after trying to yank it off while the other nut is still on and i cant sqeeze my fat head up far enough in to see it.
