Default seat belt release

Hey guys, I have a 2001 regular cab ram with a vinyl fixed bench seat. Most uncomfortable seat ever. I got a great bone yard seat recently from a 99 extra cab ram, the 40/20/40 type with cloth (no more burned legs). My truck did not come with any wiring for the seat since it is the most base model available. The seat I installed has a black box under the 20 section with a harness of it's own. I want to remove the stock rear corner seat belts & use the belts built into the seat. I want to I should say, but they are locked in tight. Who knows how to release them? The FSM was no help & the local dealer was no help here.

The little black box under the seats is the seat belt module.... I think it wants power to unlock the belts.

Grab the 01 service manual, and have a look at wiring diagrams, should be able to figger out what goes where from that.

The FSM has nothing for it. Both Dodge dealers have nothing for it. A local auto electric repair shop said they can maybe look it up, but I will still likely get there faster on my own. If any of you guys know which wire is ground & which one is positive, I can ground to the seat mount then run the other to a keyed positive then all is well again.

Here's a pinout of the connector.....

Yer right, I can't find squat about it in the FSM. Which strikes me as TRULY odd.

HeyYou - Thanks again man! The black with pink stripe is the negative, grounded to the floor & the solid pink is the positive, I have run into the door dinger which I killed for fun also. Now the seat belts in the seats work! All I have to do is turn the key on & all is right with the restraints!
