Would the 4" be w/the body lift? Again, I don't mind hacking away at metal.

Probably wouldn't need a body lift. You are already two inches taller than the half ton trucks. Six inches on a half ton would pretty much clear the size you are interested in. Pulling the fender liners in front would help as well. See if it is necessary first though.

saying every one of our trucks should have at least 4.10s... that would include diesels and v10's... so how about say all of the v8 powered trucks should come with 4.10's and all of the trucks that actually have some torque under the hood should come with 3.54s unless they are being set up to tow 20k lbs.

btw diesel forum section here is too broad. no generation separation. each generation has very different motors... besides other than the complete drive train, truck is pretty much the same as any other 2500 2nd gen

could also run some offset wheels so you don't gotta touch the inner fenders...take those fenders out your motor is going to get COVERED in mud/road debris....

my centerline wheels have enough offset you can actually see the rotors! lol

so just get yourself some aftermarket wheels with some negative offset...tires will hang out of the fenders a bit more (think mine stick out an inch or two..) but you wont have to ditch the inner fenders..

haha hopefully I don't break it again before then..damn thing is like a woman...always wants shiny new things...

gotta replace the ball joints in it tomorrow. ugh. its always something!

then it gets aligned again, then to a shop or dealer to get the electrical short in the steering column fixed that's causing occasional smoke and my overhead display to not function. and gotta fix the A/C too.

So far, so good. Went ahead and took out the inner fenders and the plastic on the front bumper(it was falling off and I'm making a new bumper anyways). And I got my passenger seat, seat belt fixed. Had to tear it apart but it works now!

I got my new shackles and they'll go on Sunday. Like I said, it ain't pretty but for $1350 I'm not complaining. Too much.
