I highly recommend getting the ones with the all plastic body as opposed to the metal body. The metal body absorbs a lot of heat where the plastic body does not.

I'm guessing, if for a '92 - '99, one would need to cut off the stock injector plugs, source the later model plugs, and splice them in place?

Not if you use the injectors with the EV1 rectangular shaped connector. It's a very simple unplug and remove the old and install and plug in the new.

So both EV1 and EV6 come in both plastic and metal bodies?

Some of the EV1 come with the metal but all the EV6 are plastic.

@bwdakrt, Do you have any other links for injectors like the ones you previously linked to?

Do a search on ebay for 'Ford 19# fuel injector' and you'll find plenty of them.

so would these work
also i noticed on the other ebay link you posted that under application they had 90-93 Trk/Van 5.2 5.9 V8. would that mean that my 93 would most likely already have something similar just a bit older and bigger? only reason i ask is i wouldn't mind upgrading if my 93 would start better and get even better gas mileage. right now it starts ok but compared to my 81 it is slow.
