The box under the middle seat- the pink wire needs voltage & the black wire with a pink stripe is the ground. my truck had a cheap seat & i added 1 like yours as an upgrade, but i had no wiring harness for it. I connected the pink wire to a keyed on wire for the door Dinger & the other to a seat mount as the ground.

Damn odd acting electronics

I just unbolted the bracket the module sits in sa I pulled the last screw, never touched a wire I hear a click,I had the key on and forgot about it. The seatbelts were free, so ok problem solved I guess, I put the bolt back in 2-3 turns I hear a click seat belts frozen, I take said screw back out click free again. So I left it, do these ground on the frame? What in the hell is going on here?

I think the pink / black wire is the ground for the unit. Maybe, if you're interested in investigating, pull and open the box and see where that fastener goes. Maybe it's not the original and it's longer than it's supposed to be and is interfering with something internally in the case.

I think you did not understand. I was taking the bracket out that the box sits in. I never touched the box or the mounting screas for it. Either way I replaced 3 bolts for the barcket and everything works, The wires must be rubbing on the last bolt and making a short, I will check it out this weekend.
