i believe there is a box mounted under the middle seat or near there that i think needs to be energized to unlock your seatbelts.Maybe something happened to the box or an electrical connection. i personally now very little about how it works so Hopefully somebody with more info can chime in.

I didn't know they did it that way until i saw something about it on this forum. So i went out and looked in my truck and sure enough i have the box and wires run from it into the back of my seats where the seat belts are.

Pull your seat apart. I just did this Saturday to both seats. There is a little device that will let the seatbelt pull out. It's not hard. Just time consuming. The device keeps the lock(?) off. But if it slips down it it won't the the belts come out. Who came up with this system????

It's designed so that in a frontal collision, (where the battery generally gets crushed....) the seat belts will immediately lock up....

It's not a bad system until it fails and needs to be repaired. LOL.

Check the connector at the funny little box under the center seat. I posted a link to a pinout of it in another seat belt thread within the last couple days.
