Default Lift Kit Help

I plan on lifting my 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 V10, I would like to lift it at least 7inches (suspension). I was wondering if anyone could send me a link to a website that has a 7in. suspension lift for my truck. I seem to be having a hard time finding one, all I see are like 5in and 5.5in suspension lift kits.

Have you tried SkyJacker's website? They have 7in lifts for your truck, they're upwards of $3500 though... If you got that kind of money, I'd say go for that. If not, piecing together parts is much cheaper. I can get around 10" of lift for my 1/2 ton for no more than $2500 by doing it that way. TopGunCustomz and Jackit have some good stuff.

My cousin got an 8in lift for WAY less than $3500. Does anyone know anywhere that have some less expensive lifts?

Does your cousin have a 2500 Ram? A 7" suspension kit (not susp & body) for a Ram is gonna cost you around $3000+ There's no cheap alternatives besides piecing it together, which is not very hard especially if you or someone you know can cut and weld ...Only a few companies make 7" kits; SkyJacker, Dodge Off Road, and maybe another company that I can't think of.

I'd much rather have this than SkyJacker:
Dodge Off Road - $3300
http://www.dodgeoffroad.com/store_DORsuspensions.php

You know a 2500 sits about 2" higher than a 1500 right? 5" lift on a 2500 is like a 7" lift on a 1500.

What are you gonna use this for? Strictly a daily driver on the road, off roading, a piece of furniture for the living room?

yeah there are cheaper lift kits but theres a reason they will break.why do you need a 7" lift on your truck for anyway?are you driving in mud everyday or the swamps?or you just want a lift kit cause it looks cool?and big tires like 38s and bigger will eat up your tranny so plan on replacing your tranny after a while.
