I've had this aftermarket alarm system with remote starter for over 5 years now. It is VERY sensitive and will set off if the door handles are pulled without them being unlocked. You can adjust the sensitivity of the sysetm as well. It has sensors to disable the starter and also one if the hood is raised. It also has an antenna that makes the range really good. Best part for me is the remote start! Install isn't very hard either.

Does your build sheet reflect VTSS? Do you have the std console or the one with compass and mileage info?

I may pop mine off to see if there is any kind of module up there.

My build sheet does not state VTSS, only Remote Keyless Entry. I do have the console that includes mileage info and other misc. data. I've got to take a closer look.

Most definitely there has never been a 15 second arming/with flashing LED in the console.

Went back and looked at build sheet. I show:

AJKP Convenience Group
AJPP Power Convenience Group
LBAP Map/Courtesy Lamp

But it does not show Remote Keyless Entry. I had wondered if Power Convencience Group included Keyless, but aws yours lists as a specific item, the it is probably not. But at least I know. I will have to install aftermarket alarm if I want to have that. I may still look at overhead console when I get a chance. I am betting that I will see a connector hangin loose in there though.

Thanks for the info to help me compare!
