Default no muffler?

right now im running stock manifolds and cat then i relaced the muffler with a glasspack, I was wondering if taking the glasspack out and just puting a straight pipe out the back using the stock tailpipe will sound good or will it pop like crazy, im wanting the deep tone but also loud when you lay on the pedal.

I had stock manifolds, high flow cat, and no muffler for a few months. It sounded really tough and loud, but it attracts a lot of attention and its too much noise I think (can't even hear the person next to you when your driving). And a good amount of popping on decel. I like having a muffler w/ a high flow cat a lot better.
