wat ball joints to get

Default wat ball joints to get

well i need to do my ball joints soon and no clue wat brand to go with all my buddys say moog but i dont that moog is that good truck is a 2000 dodge ram 1500 lifted 6 in on 35 boggers truck is my daily driver but will be out in the mud verry offten so wat are some good ball joints that dont break the bank

Moogs. They will hold up pretty well to wheeling but beware they are stiff and will cause some memory steer. The best option would be XRF, if u wanted to get serious about it. I have the raybestos and they seem to be good quality and they are inexpensive. I bought all 4 for $130 on ebay. And if one decides to fail i can solice in the fact that they were only $30 a peice.

yea i emailed XRF last night waiting on a reply from them on how much they are and i ordered some ebay ones that i have here but i installed one of the lower ones and its really short the nut barly goes on it so i wont be using them and i could move it around when i installed it good thing i only paid 30$ for all 4 of them lol

and wat do u mean by memory steer?

Don't go cheap. That lift is going to put extra strain on the ball joints.

its only 6in cant be that much strain lol my chevy with 9in and 38 i had no prob with ball joints on it

I'd use moog. Never had a problem from any of their products. Did anyone ever hear back about the XRF ball joints?

The ones i bought on ebay were raybestos which from what i hear are good quality. I bought a set of those cheap china ones for my last truck and the failed.

moog is one of the leaders and for good reason. I would moog it up.

Moog USED to be good. Now, not so much so. Seems that XRF has a very good rep though, and may even actually be produced right here in the states.....
