Default 1998 ram abs/brake light onb

i have a 1998 dodge ram 2500 2 wheel drive. My wifes son borrowed it for a year . i finally got it back yesterday. When i started it to drive it home the abs and brake lights stayed on. Also the speedo doesnt register til 25-30 mph. Drove it into town this morning and the check engine light came on. What little research i have done so far indicates this could all be tied together, speed sensor on rear differential. Any help, suggestions would be greatly appretiated. Thanks

Yep, rear wheel speed sensor. Replace it, and should solve 99% of it. (reset PCM to clear codes. and turn off CEL)

The speed sensor on the rear axle needs replaced. Not a difficult thing to do.
