I have a 96 1500 with the 5.2L and 5spd manual. I am looking at swapping the 5.2 with a 5.9L. I am wanting to know if anything specific will have to be swapped as well and if its a direct bolt up to the 5spd. Any information would be helpful.

 

Probably need the flywheel from a 360 as well. It will run on the stock computer, but, not as well as it could. Probably can get an SCT from Hemifever with some tunes for your 5.9. Most everything else will simply bolt right on.
