Default 1997 Ram/ Jasper trans. tcc issue

I have a 1997 ram that got a new jasper 46re hooked to the 5.9L bout 4 months ago and it started pulling a wire short error (oxygen sensor) now it is pulling a P0740 TCC No RPM drop at lockup. has any seen this code or know the best way to fix it since its a daily driver.

Have you called the place that installed the trans? I would assume you have a warranty on it.

Having said that, I wouldn't own a Jasper product. I made that mistake about 10 years ago. I had a 96 Dodge Intrepid, and went through three transmissions before I junked the car. The stock trans puked, and both Jaspers I had installed. The second Jasper was free, as it was covered by the warranty on the first one, but I still had to pay to have it swapped. That sucked the big one.

The o2 sensor code is unrelated to your transmission. Have you checked your plenum gasket? Check the thread stickied at the top.

@Josh_Putman. Idk if jasper covers it being a stock dodge converter. My Dad installed mine a year after he put his in his cummins.

@QuadCabLuv I know for a fact that the Cat was changed 4 years ago. It actually might be that gasket but motor runs smooth the Solus reader I was using said upstream wire shorted. I do know Dad bumped it when we put the transmission and hooked the exhaust back up (Dodge Cat wasn't put on, this one is GM)

So you had a new/rebuilt tranny installed with the old converter ?
