X2.

I doubt Carter makes their own fuel pumps. I'll bet those pumps are made by one of the other manufacturers but to Carter's specs. Basically, you're paying for the Carter name, which IMHO isn't worth it.

I'd also stay away from the Carter. Used to be a great product back in the day, no more as far as I'm concerned. The 3rd one was not only the right one(book was wrong) but it actually worked after 3. This was on my 98.

I ended up getting the Denso part # 953-3027 from Rockauto. $200 + $14 2-day shipping. Ordered it Monday morning and it arrived today,Tuesday, at noon. Dodge wanted $485 and would have to wait 2 days. Does anyone know of a write-up of the replacement with pictures. The one in DIY doesn't have pictures anymore. And any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated. I DO NOT plan on removing the bed. Thanks.

Good deal, $200 + $14 2-day shipping.. You should have the discount code also from the thread in the general discussion section. Not to mention you should post the, $200 + $14 2-day shipping in that thread.

Unfortunately, I forgot about the discount, AGAIN! But I'm pleased with the price, considering most the other sites had it for over $350 and dealer $485. Hopefully I remember in the future. Thanks!

Hey fellas! Well, it's been a while since I've posted (which is a good thing since that means I haven't' had to replace anything...until now)and my fuel pump just gave out on me. The funny thing is it went out on me as soon as I was leaving from my friends house. I just finished fixing her car. Like they always say, God has a great sense of humor! I laughed. Well, I just wanted to take this time to say I installed a Delphi fuel pump from RockAuto for $188 (discount code included) and that sucker is quit. You can't hear it prime the system when you turn the key at all. I would rather have it be a little loud so I know if it goes out on me. Solid piece of work though! I'd definitely recommend it.

LOL....When I saw that you posted on this thread in the corner of the page, the first thing I thought was "he hasn't been around for a while!"

Welcome back!
