the magnaflow gives you about the exact amount of power as the flowmaster but it is really quite. its louder then stock and it has an ok sound at idle. I just like it to be more agressive.

 

its not as quiet as you think lol i love its sound its just right not tootooo loud but the tone its all about the tone, ive heard trucks that sound like drag cars pretty much.. thats not what i want to hear, i want to hear more like a hot rod big block gluggidy gluggidy type era sound.. VROOOOOOOOOOM baby GOO MAGNAFLOW WOOOT! lol

 

What was the price for exaust upgrade?

 

$450 installed by a performance shop that specializes in hot rods and stuff, the owner has a 1000+ horse rwhp stang with a vette LS1 motor in it lol but ya he bought the muffler and the tips and then did all the piping 100% custom

 

That is how I want mine to sound lol what do I have to do to acomplish? Are these the trucks with straight pipes? I don't know I do like the rubling hot rod sound a lot though.

hes got all kind of ignition stuff done a cam and true dual exhaust and he gets about 0 miles to the gallon actualy proly 8 or less.

Sounds just like mine, I love it! I also have a Magnaflow system. I first straight piped it from the cat back and it was pretty loud. Then I had to replace my cat and it got about twice as loud, and sounded like that obnocious hot rod. So I got the Magnaflow, and I got a hell of a deal for it. $245 for the new muffler and duals bent out the back. I'm loving it!

Anybody know approx how much hp is gained by magnaflows?
