Default 96 2500 front end conversion?

I was wondering if I could convert my front end to either a newer style front end or if I just have to buy a new 96 front end. The original front end is cracking and faded so I was just hoping to update my truck.

I don't think the body lines changed too much over the years, so you could probably buy parts from newer 2nd's Gens, but newer style like 3rd Gen or newer won't match at all.
