Default Could this be my A/C problem... 2000 Ram

A/C hasn't worked for yrs and while I was replacing my dash today I saw what I think is some sort of actuator. It has a vacuum line on the bottom and should be attached to I think the recirculation door. I have a picture but can't figure out how to post it.

Upload your pic to one of the photo hosting sites. (you will have to create an account there..) Imageshack, or photobucket work fine.

Once you have the image uploaded, if you mouse over it, it will bring up another little blurb below it, click on the spot for "image code" that will copy the code you your clipboard, then, you can just right click, and hit "paste" to post the image here.

Recirc door won't prevent the A/C from working. Does the compressor run at all?

Check fuses and a/c relay out under hood. Horn fuse is linked with a/c request. Lot of possibilities left after that.
