Default 2000 Ram A/C issue

Well here is what I have going on with the A/C.

A/C does not blow cold... compressor runs (at least it cycles on and off), high side is cold coming out of fire wall (from evap I would imagine), goes through the orifice(I think) and is warm going into condenser.

Can I assume it's not leaking since the line is cold?

Going to replace the heater core and evap this weekend. Do you think that should solve the problem?

Need to check and see what your pressures look like. Also should see if the blend door is operating properly. This is a famous failure point on the newer second gens.....

There is an electronic module on the bottom of the heater box, just to the right side of the trans tunnel. Pull the two screws that hold it in, (the one closest to the firewall is a pain...) and check to see if the coupler is broken.

I will have to get a guage set to check pressures.

I did the heater treater thing with the blend door the other week. Every thing looked good when I took it apart and replaced it.

More than likely a pressure issue then.
