Default Diesel engine in place of gas?

Hello everybody, I have been wondering for some time now if somebody has put on of the Cummins diesels into a half ton truck with the 5.9L magnum. I really want to do something like this, but want to know if it is an awful lot of work first.

Of course it's an awful lot of work.

It HAS been done, but, as it turns out, it's actually cheaper/easier to sell your gas truck, and buy one with a diesel already in it.

That is kinda what I thought. It would be fun for a show down against those new Chevy trucks though!

I watched a video clip a while back on youtube of a Ram 1500 with a Cummins Diesel, it didn't look like you could put your hand in the engine bay, it was FULL.

Could you find that clip? I think that would be cool...
