I just recently got this, and I would highly suggest having other mods before getting it. I can't see your sig cuz I'm on mobile, but it might take a little from your low end if you don't have gears to compliment tire size. It also helps if you have a tuner like SCT... I wouldn't suggest getting it if you haven't done a lot to your truck yet.

haven't seen that one before but it looks like the hughes FI airgap. have the air gap and love it. make sure it comes with all the hardware to directly bolt in place. because of the different height of the intake for your alt. and comp. to mount to. i have seen graphs and the airgap is hard to beat.

Merc runs on of those on his truck. You really don't lose much bottom end with it.

and larger tires.

I think we have a few members here using the M1, or hughes, I haven't seen any real complaints are low rpm power loss though.

i didn't notice any loss with the FI, but then again, I did several mods at the same time, too.. in all honesty, though, the single best thing about that or any other manifold other than the keg is lack of belly pan.. a plenum gasket no longer is of any worry.. that is worth $500 to me, anyway..

Gears, tires, cam, RR'S, comp ratio, tq stall speed all play a part yes. I did run this intake with just a mild motor somewhat close to the op's set up and it worked good, the big thing I would suggest is a tuner to help that set up.

There is a small install kit needed to go with this intake, P5007638 Magnum intake manifold installation kit $69.95 other than that it is a bolt on job, it's the same height as the kegger intake, alt is in the same spot same with the A/C.
