Default Lights problem

Hi guys, first post here, well after the one on the newbee page.

On my 1999 1500 sport the fog lights are not working and the inner bulbs on the headlights are not working also. Could this all be because of the main light switch?? I took it a part and clean it and nothing changed. I don't recommend anybody doing this because it's a major pita to put back togheter. I checked all fuses and relays to.

I am not really good at electrical snags but I do have a ohm meter so with some guidance and your help I could probably figure it out.

Thanks

The switch is known for having issues but if you have ahd it out and it looks good, then the problem lays elsewhere.

Using volts on your meter (not ohms as you will blow your meter) you will need to check for voltage in several places. You can download the service manual in the FAQ/DIY section. Parts manual there also. Follow schematic to see where the power goes after the switch.
