Default Crack at the top of gas tank

I have a '97 Ram 4x4 with a 5.9 and a 6' bed. There is a crack in the top of the fuel tank which I would like to either repair or replace the tank. Two things:
1) I have tried to repair the crack in the past using CarGo Plastic Tank Repair (it is a two-part putty that you have to kneed together to activate it and eventually hardens) but that did not do the trick. Which brings me to number 2.
2) I have searched online to try and price a replacement fuel tank for my truck with no luck on finding one for sale; new or used. Do any of my fellow Rammers know of where I can locate a new or used fuel tank? Am I S.O.L. and have to go to the dealer? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

There's one in a JY here.....check your area or craigslist for someone parting one out. lmctruck.com may sell new ones, but a good used one has to be cheaper.

All 5 Rams in the Pick n Pull up here had their fuel tanks. That would be the most economical option, but you gotta do it with your own sweat.
