Sensatrac vs. Gas Magnum
I was researching new shocks and found both of these to be very similar in price, both of which were around what i want to spend, my question is just which one??
Does anyone have preferences one way or the other or experience with either??

But both are good shocks. Personal preference really
I've got the gas magnums with no complaints. Good ride and I would think they're a little stiffer than the sensatracks but I have no experience with the sensatracs. They're a lot stiffer than the crap shocks that were on mine lol. Cheapest price I found was on Rock Auto.
I put a full set of Sensatrac shocks on my 1998 Ram. At first I was super happy. Then, two weeks later, both front shocks started thumping and thudding. I warranty replaced them and all was well for two weeks...and now these have started thumping and thudding again.
I personally think my truck is just too heavy for these shocks and after two weeks of bumpy streets, they die.
I am going to upgrade to the next step up on Monroe's lineup.

I'm not a complete moron. Like I told you in the other thread, I installed them correctly. Both times. The lower bolts are torqued properly. The upper shaft nuts are run down tight, and the tower bolts are all in correctly.
What next? Gonna ask if they're right side up?
The back shocks are easy. Tip: Drop the spare tire before you start.
