Got Dodge Ram and love driving it.
Have been driving my new 2001 Ram1500, 5.9L for few weeks now, and loving it. It has some many options from leather heated seats to steering wheel stereo control *****. Took it to the river and played in the sand little bit. NICE. That is my first full size 4x4 pickup, and I want to keep it for a while.
It is a big truck, and obviously MPG suck on it, around 10 MPG even driving like a grandma. I have read about several improvements that can be done to the truck to get better fuel efficiency and will try it.
I will probably have tons of questions for all you Ram owners, since I am a newbee to this big truck scene.

Welcome to the Dodge club! I wish I had leather and steering wheel stereo control ***** in my truck...maybe one day I'll have them.
Getting good mileage out of these things can be hard, but a cold air intake, free flowing exhaust, and a tonnuea (sp?) cover of some sort will help. Also, adding about 2-3 oz. of acetone to every 10 gallons will help.

Welcome to the club man, yea you should be able to get better than 10mpg cause I have a 5.9 with 35's on it and I get 10.5-11 around town. Feel free to ask any questions!!
Thanks for the welcomes.
The tires that I got, are 285/75/16, and yesterday I found out that my speedo is about 15-20 % off. There fore my MPG should go from
10-11 MPG to 12-13 MPG. YEA..
