Default stock dizzy strait to msd box?

just wondering if a stock dizzy on a 99 will hook up directly to a msd 6a box?
I have it hooked up now from and to the original coil wires.

if its hooked directly to the msd box then the dizzy bypasses the computer which does the ignition timing right?

No,the computer is firing the MSD box and is still in control of the timing. Unless you swap out the dizzy for an old LA style that is internally triggered. Which is foolish for any number of reasons.
