bed sagging on one side

Default bed sagging on one side

so I noticed my bed sit funny yesterday and it sits lower then the other side and a friend told me that his had did that and he replaced the leaf springs and fixed the issue of the bed sagging and it sits level now.

is this really all it is or is there something else Im not being told?

Springs could be sagging. Frame could be tweeked. Bed could be tweeked. Bed mounts could be rusted or colapsed. Could be any number of things.

these trucks are notorious for having "the lean." mostly leans towards the drivers side. only fix i've known is a new leaf pack.

Yeah.. the other thing is if there is a problem up front causing lean it will cause the *** end to sit funny as well.

Need to check everything out on level ground.. see whats actually sagging and whats up too high..

My dak had tension bars and mine was leaning.. once i balanced the front out my right rear end was normal height again. before it was a little saggy and the driver side.. was a little higher..

Boys be nice I just replaced a door and gutted both of them and switched parts in 4 hours alone. Now I will be checking stuff out after I get the u joint replaced. I do believe it is a leaf pack.

I've heard flipping the mattress can help. Or put a piece of plywood under it.

Oh, wait, you were talking about your truck bed. My bad.

Had that issue on my 2001 before I traded it in. New leaf springs solved the issue.
