i looked at that again. my leaf spring bolts are a big torx head, maybe T45, T55. it looks like you might be able to get a torx socket on the end of a pull bar, and slip it in from the top, or inside the frame channel from the front or back. then put an air wrench on the nut and zip it off. maybe.

your suppose to slow down for those? i always speed up.
sounds like people do thing the hard way around here. me and my dad put new springs in his ford and it didn't even take us 4 hours. go to junkyard and pick up a set that are the same. cut the ends off about an inch from where the leaf below it start. then install them under you old main leaf. you might need a bit longer bolt to hold all leaf springs together. you may also have to round of the head on the bolt but that is easy. the second side always go easier than the first. now if you got enough stands i would say lift the whole back end up and let the axle down.

your going to buy brand new springs? i wouldn't wast money on new ones. i would just buy some used ones, cut the ends off and stick them under the old main leaf. could save you a couple hundred dollars and you should never have it sag again with that extra main leaf supporting the old main leaf.
