I had a set of 35W 8000k's in my 1995, worked perfectly. I've got a few friends with 98's and 2000's who have had issues with the bright light indicator staying on when the HIDs are on, and thought maybe it had something to do with the fact that their trucks were newer. I just wanted to sort of prepare myself before buying them for my 2001 so that when I run across the problem, I can solve it quickly. Is it a capacitor? Relay? Please explain! Thanks guys.

 

if the bright indicator stays on the hid are wired for the wrong type of bulbs..wired for a 9007 instead of a 9004 and vice versa
