Default head gasket questions

well, im trying to piece together a list of things for when i replace my cracked heads.

when looking on summit, they have cometic head gaskets, but they only have a 4.040, or a 4.200 bore size. which gasket set do i need? or should i go with another brand?

what do you guys recommend for head gaskets? i'm going with Odessa's eq iron ram heads. with 2.02 valves, HS 1.7's, and the air gap. of course ill be getting shorties too....

all recommendations are appreciated!

Cometic is way overkill. You also need very smooth deck surfaces to get them to seal. Stick with FelPro.

ive used felpro in the past, and didnt like the quality. i used them on my old civic, and during tear down, i noticed gasket failure within 5 months, and roughly 10k miles.

would the mopar performance gasket be ok then? is it ok for the stock bore of the 318?
