I've been stuck at a storage facility all nigth.
Bought a headlight switch and installed it.
Had headlights, but the dashboard didn't light up

A month later someone told me I had no running lights.

I took off the panel and 3 screws holding the switch
pushed the **** in and out and turned it around
Got the running lights and panel lit and tried to screw
it back, but panel and lights went out.

Then the blankin' alarm went off
Fortunately, I found the alarm box and turned it off

I've never used the alarm box in the 3 years I've had the van
The previous owner turned it off

How do I turn it back off?
I really really don't like listening to that noise.

I will move your post to the 2nd Gen Ram section.

 

You won't believe this one. I took off the dashboard covers and then went at the steering wheel cover. When I started to remove the top one, I noticed a triangular
push button on top of it behind the steering wheel. I pushed it. I tried the turn
signals and they work! Then, I checked and I have brake lights, too! Not only that,
but the alarm totally deactivated!
