Default Week from He!!

Well you know when it rains it pours....Today was one of those days....Doing 70 down I-35 in Austin my truck bogged down and the engine light came on and we(My wife and I off to her doctors Appointment) slowed down to a neck breaking 20MPH [:-]ok so maybe it was 10MPH....When i jumped on the accelorator it almost died...Limped to an auto parts store and quickly ran in and got a set of wires for my truck...As you see Last week i had a wire go bad and replaced with a new set on my intial inspection on the side of the road today i had found the coil wire laying on the manifold...Seems it had poped off of the holder it was in by the valve cover and burned a big hole in the covering. started the truck it....And what do you know that wasnt it. [:@] Had a guy at the parts store read the codes off and seems my whole right bank(standing from the front looking in) had miss-fires...so I replaced the coil [sm=badidea.gif]and still the samething...This time making sure the wires on that side had spark yes they did...Now scratching my head for a bit...and asking a few questions to the parts manager...we both couldnt figure it out...Had it towed home the whole time thinking that I had a bad electrical problem.....Now in the mean time my wife is ticked because she is seeing her girls weekend going away. Which she was supposed to leave on in 45min from the time the tow truck had pulled in the drive way. ****Cool Part of this****I rented a 06 convertable mustang for the weekend never liked mustangs but a free rental weekend with Hertz and a convertable I am all over it(Business Perk)......Wife went on her way i worked on the truck.......While in my garage i started up the truck which idles with out a miss and started reading my book to figure this thing out. I reved it and heard a rattle underneath the truck...Upon closer inspection i hear what sounds to be bolts in my catalitic converter....After some quick holly crap its hot out( 102 in tx today) here thinking...It occured to me that my cat is cloged...By this time my neighbor(a huge chevy fan) and I commenting on the lack of exhaust comming from the pipes not even enough to blow out a lighter at idle. [sm=WTFsgign.gif]

So my question is What is the best free flowing cat with single out for my truck?

Thanks for listening...Had to blow steam wife wasnt here to get mad at...If it haddent been for her appointment...LOL

PS I have the mustang till Monday....So needless to say Im not working on my truck till Monday.

i've heard good things about magnaflow, but when my cat got clogged on my ram at about 107,000 i had the local muffler place do it and its freer flowing for sure cuz it changed the exhaust note a little but then i had Ravin Z-33 muffler with dual 3in pipe to 3.5 tip put on and the truck sounds amazing! and it was like 108.00 installed(w/ my discount) now the owner.

Sorry about your bad week!! My cat started going bad so i had my local hook up cut it off for me and just replace it with a y pipe and I have a single chamber flowmaster. Sounds great, very loud though. Thats only if you have someone to get a sticker for you. But I have also heard good things about the Magna Flow cats.
