brakes feel spongy
i have 99 doge ram 1500 4x4
today i went to drive and my break pedal is spongy when i press down on it
i pulled over and notice my fluid was at low and refil.
i went and filled up my brake fluid to the full line
break pedal feels spongy still
any ideas could running the break fluid on low cause this to star happening.

fluid can go low from worn out pads/shoes, or a leak.
spongy can be moisture or air in fluid.
pull the wheels off and check front calipers.
pull the rear wheels and brake drums off and check rear wheel cylinders.
check your pads and shoes while you're there.
