Default Best headlight fixtures for 2001 Dodge Ram?

Hopefully in the next couple months I'll have money to replace my old, scratched, cloudy headlights.

I was thinking about getting the same stock kind, but ones that are completely clear.

Does anyone have any other suggestions on the different types of fixtures? I'm looking for some that aren't really expensive.

Thanks,
Max

You could try finding a set of 2000-2001 Sport quad bulb headlights. You would have to do some added wiring but well worth it. Be careful of some of the after-market lights as they don't have aiming screws.

+1 on stock Sport housings.

I've also seen a single bulb clear housing that is OE Sport style, looks really slick. I don't remember who makes it, I think LMC does.

I have HIDs so I'm looking for the housings with only 1 socket. I don't really want to do any rewiring or anything.

I was thinking about the stock ones that are clear. I think they make the Sport ones clear with only 1 socket, but I'm not sure.

Those were the ones I was referring to.
I think LMC makes them.

I got stock headlights from AMAutoparts.com for under 90 bucks shipped. Brand new, with the side markers, and they even came with bulbs...... not sure if those housings would be good for HID bulbs though......

stock sport headlights would be the brightest and best beam pattern. you will blind everyone with HID's in those housings though...

they are a 4 bulb setup so if you want to take advantage of the quad hi-beam feature you will need a wiring harness for the sports with the relay.

aftermarket beam patterns have nothing on the factory sport beam patterns..you will not find a brighter headlight on a dodge ram unless you go to complete custom setup by retrofitting acura TL projectors in sport headlight housings.
