So My trucks a 1500 SLT with power locks and stuff but I bought the truck used and it didnt come with a remote. So, does my truck already have the guts for a remote since it has power locks? I was just looking to get a replacement one off ebay.

 

Get a build sheet for your truck, link for doing so in the faq section. That will tell you if your truck actually had it or not.

It is possible, but usually the CTM has to be reprogrammed for the new remote. Not as easy as it sounds.
