Default Leaking, need help =/

hey guys i know this is a very common question but i searched through a lot of threads and havent found exactly what im looking for. my truck seems to be leaking a clear fluid. from what i understand it could possibly be ps or brake fluid. now it looks like it is leaking from the trans front seal, but it is not red or pink or any color for that manner....another thing is i checked all of my fluids; oil, trans, ps, brake, and they are all full so i have no idea what it could be..a final thing i was reading is it could be from AC condensation but i doubt it because i never use my AC. so any thoughts? i will try to upload pics if i can but its night time now so they wont be clear

if it was brake fluid your brakes would be kinda mushy, are they? Every power steering leak ive had(almost every vehicle ive owned) has all been a dark fluid when it leaks could be from dirt and stuff but if your getting clear oil id say its probably brake fluid but if its water than it would be ac condensate but thats on the passenger side.

How did you check your transmission fluid?

You're missing a fluid or two, coolant...and windshield washer fluid.

What does the fluid smell like? Get a paper towel and wipe the fluid off, what color is on the paper towel?

Wipe it all down and dry it off, drive around for a bit and try to locate exactly where it's coming from. Is the fluid dripping onto the ground or is the area just damp?

is it leaking at the bell housing? if so and its more clear, it could be a freeze plug thats leaking and your coolant is more water than antifreeze

it looks like it is further back than the bell housing, i wiped it down and sprayed some degreasser down there im gonna drive it around a lil and see whats going on...and the reason i didnt say coolant before was it doesnt look like it would leak that far back, but that would def. explain why it is a clearer color

...and that would be a real PITA! But most likely what is is and where it is coming from.

you gotta think though, if it leaks at the housing, and you drive it...the wind will push it back towards the rear of the truck so it could be doing that as well
