Default trans cooler question

Hey yall, got a question. I had to replace my radiator a while ago and couldn't get those foam spacers to stick between the cooler and my radiator for the pull through zip ties.

My tranny has been acting up, and I think its overheating cuz its in direct contact with the radiator itself.

Any opinions? Suggestions?

You can get those at autozone with the new ties. Worst thing is that if they rub together, either the condenser or radiator (or both) will start to leak.

I'm more worried about heat exchange between the two right now. Would that be a concern?
