Default Rear driveshaft removal

I need to drop the driveshaft on the orange wreck to take care of a few issues, one of which is to add a t-case saver and replace the seal on the tail housing (thanks for the DIY, 2x1972). I'm not really familiar with this type of shaft setup, so I thought I'd ask first. I'm assuming that after I take off the straps and bolts at the rear differential, I can push the driveshaft forward to gain clearance from the diff, then simply drop the differential end of the shaft down, and pull the whole thing off the tail housing. Am I on the right track?

Might want to go ahead and change the u joints while the shaft is out. Wouldnt be hard later, but would have to drop it again to do so.
