Default Front Shock Problem on 2nd Gen Ram/Desperate

OK here is the problem with the shock....there are not any on the front at all. just the coil. I do not see shock towers in the engine bay anywhere either. Biggest problem I have is I just had back surgery and cannot climb around much to figure it out. This is the truck where the VIN says 95 but the body is at least 99. Maybe somebody screwed up when they chopped it. I need pics of the front shocks installed on a truck. Then if I am missing parts I go get em from the junkyard and my son gets to get some experience in suspension. Tried to stop a guy here and ask if I could look at his truck but he was an a$$. Do they run straight through the middle of the coil and if so a part number would help with the pics. like I said I see no shock tower at all and I tried to add pics but cant. I just need pics so I can see how it mounts. I cannot crawl under and see if it bolts to the A-arm like most due to my recent surgery. I am desperate but skilled. Please help. Truck is bouncing like a low rider in the front.

2wd or 4wd ?

here's 4wd 1500. shock is inside the coil and the top of the tower is barely visible inside the engine bay. most everything is in the wheel well.

Two wheel drive?
All you need is the shocks if that is the case because there is a hole by the top of the spring on the outside and one on the lower control arm.
You might need that lower bolt. The shocks come with a new nut but I don't think they come with that lower bolt.

Default Aint that something

I have had the truck for 2 years in total (because I bought it twice), changed the radiator, front brakes and bearings and never realized there was no shock. Thanks guys for the pics. I have a feeling my truck is gonna ride a whole lot better and my 9 year old son is gonna improve his mechanical skills. Love this forum. Oh yeah it is a 2 wheel drive. Lets fix this
