Another bad day!!
So I was coming home from my girlfriends apt. at ECU in Greenville NC at 5:00 this morning. Yesterday I started hearing a creaking poping kinda noise from the front left wheel and this morning riding down the road at 7omph I found out what it was, the bearings in my wheel hub blew out and the wheel flopped over in the wheel well and sent me for a ride. Luckily I was able to control it and steer to the side of the road. Long story short the wrecker towed me in and it was fixed within the hour, now I'm $315 poorer!

RE: Another bad day!!
Actually it cost $250 to actually fix it, but you throw in a $65 towing fee and you get $315. This is the second time it has happened to the left side in 6 months, I guess the last hub I got had bad bearings or seals or something. Thanks Trippen, it was definetly fun. I used up all the lanes on the road trying not to kill myself! Now every time I get in the truck I'm affraid one of them is gonna go out again.

RE: Another bad day!!
The truck had 125k on it when the first one went, the wheel wobbled a little at first but I didn't know what it was so I didn't pay attention to it, it happened again cause the new hub they put in had a bad seal which caused the bearing to go bad again, but Advanced Auto refunded me all my money cause it went bad so early. The second one squeaked real bad before it went but I was in Greenville, NC and wanted to get back to Raleigh before I fixed it, guess I should have gotten it fixed.
