I like the parking lights idea. When I drove my dad's F-150 it had lights on the grill guard and I never turned them off, so the switch is sort of useless to me as I'll always have it on anyways haha.
What's a good size driving light that will fit in that hole? Do I still need to buy a stock mount?
Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure I get it right =)

if you already have hids in your headlights definitely put them in the fogs too. i know it doesnt seem like itd make much of a difference but at night there is a pretty noticeable amount of light difference when you have hid fogs too. not to mention it looks sweet. i have 10ks in both my headlights and foglights i just love how she lights up at night. bought a plug and play kit from a local store for about 50 bucks and havent had an issues since.

You would have to measure your individual bumper holes to see what size would fit best, the lights are really up to you, and especially if you want HID's, eBay has an endless supply of fog lights to help you out.

As far as the wiring, check this out:

IIRC, you just connect the 85 terminal to your parking light wire (anyone know what that looks like color wise??) and you should be set.
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong

ok cool. I think for now I'm going to just use halogen's.
Step 1- driving lights
Step 2- projectors
Step 3- upconvert to HID's =)
I only get an extra 50 here and there to spend on stuff so it's a slow process haha.

Wow, that is impressive.
Good luck with it man, I know exactly how it is piecing your truck together one by one until it's exactly what you want. (As your budget allows of course )

Good luck with the build, keep all of us posted.

10k HIDs in your head lights AND fog lights? Where did you find this? I'm getting road armor for X-mas and it fits 4" fogs but haven't found any HIDs higher than 6k in a 4" :-(

What do you guys think of this set on Amazon?

Amazon Amazon

It's kinda in the middle as far as price, comes with relays and switch. I figure I could save maybe 20 -25 bucks doing it all myself but this comes with all the mounting hardware which may be a little easier.

Thoughts?? Opinions? Funny Jokes? Whitty remarks?

Thanks!

Seems good to me if that's what you're looking for with lights. Says it comes with the harness and stuff, that's always a plus! Go for it if you like them!
