Thanks guys for all the responses.
I'll actually be installing a fitting there so I can run mechanical gauge.
That's going to be a knuckle buster OUCH! not much room there

Being in the marine end of things there are time's when two or more sending units are needed, I have experience/seen that when you add the other sending unit to the other one using a tee, the tee or the steel piece of pipe will snap off at the block do to engine harmonics and the added weight of the other sender.

So I make up these you get to keep the org ops and add the new mech one as well, and buy using the flex line everything is isolated from all harmonics.

My 2000 1500 sport started getting the classic symptom of showing no oil pressure after getting warmed up and hitting idle then every time u give a little throttle the oil pressure jumps back up and the light goes out then as zoon as you hit idle again the needle drops. I know this happens to many people so I went out and got a new oil pressure sending unit andsocket but I cant get the clips off the old one to get it out any suggestions??

Some have a lock tab you have to remove first. Should be a little red feller. See if it's still there.

Should pull out to the side. Then just lift the tab a bit to pull the connector. (the lock needs to come completely out I do believe.)
