Default Radio Install (Wont turn on with ignition)

Hello,
I am installing a Pioneer DEH-14UB radio into my 1999 dodge ram 1500. I have a wiring harness going from the original wires to the radio. When wiring it up everything seems to be connected properly. The problem is that the radio wont turn on and off when the car turns on and off. The wires colors are all different between the radio/harness and original wires but i believe i have the correct. I also switched the constant and Switch wire just not to see if i have them backwards, but no luck. One thing to note is when i have it plugged in as what i think is correct and i turn the ignition on the radio turns off for 2-3 seconds and then turns back on. I'm completely lost at this point so any help would be great.
Thanks,
Daniel
