Hello, first time dodge owner here. My 2001 dodge 2500 4x4 5.9 gas.

It's not uncommon for synthetic oil to cause problems in high mileage engines that have been on a steady diet of conventional oil. You might try dumping the synthetic out and replacing it with a conventional oil.
