Default Trans slipping in first and reverse.

got a governor pressure code and replaced solenoids and sensor adjusted bands and replaced filter and gasket. now its like i got a stall converter in the truck.

the rpm's will come up to 12-1500 before it kicks into first gear, same with reverse.

the only other problem is when coasting off the on ramp on the highway it bounce from neutral to one of the gears seems like it doesnt know what to be in.

other than those 2 problems the trans shifts fine. what gives? time for a rebuild? truck is a 99 ram 1500 4x4 with 135k.

Drop the pan, see what you find.

What is a "band adjustment" besides moving the percussion to another location?
