My trucl has been surging for a few weeks now . And now I go to pull into work and she dies on me . Crank and cranks I pump the gas and nothing happens couple buddies say fuel pump well this is number 3 in two years fr autozone. Is there a better one or what I really want to do is a rail mounted pump and filter but idk how to set that up and still have my gas gauge work please help guys I need my truck

 

From what I've heard you want to use denso or delphi fuel pumps.

 

Have tried swapping the relay?

 

+1, But check fuel pressure first. And if it is the pump, that autozone (Duracrap) lifetime warranty doesn't look so good now does it? Anyway, get a cheap pressure tester and verify pressure first. Could be something else.

 

Was just about to buy the Delphi then I decided to go check the relay had my old lady start the truck . Keep in mind it's dark out and what do I see but a spark plug wire making a light show on my headers. $10 dollar fix thanks guys for the awesome help
