Default Anyone Try Any Of These Lights Off EBay?

I'm looking to "smoke out" my truck before next year. I was doin some research on eBay and found some stuff and wanted to get you guys's opinion. I wanted to mainly just get the black covers and get some brighter bulbs for the headlights/tail lights but I don't know what bulbs to get? Here's some stuff I found:

The ones I have look similar to these however, mine are not smoke. Mine are clear. Although they look great on my truck, they are not adjustable. Meaning no adjustment screws. My low beams are actually in the lower to mid high beam area on the road. My high beams blind opossums hanging in the trees. Do some research and see if any of your choices are adjustable. If not be prepared to have oncoming drivers flash you regularly. I find myself using just my fog lights on busy roads out of consideration for others.

Alright thanks for the input. That's why i was just going to get some black covers for the front and back and put brighter bulbs in them. I just don't know what kind of bulbs to get.

Any other input?

Those full length LED bars look great for about 6 months, then the bulbs start burning out and they look terrible. Once the LEDS start going wonky, the bar is toast since they can't be repaired.

i think before you go wasting money you got to think about were you do most of your driving. all those tinted headlights and tail lights are useless and i think it is most likely illegal to use since they negatively effect the light output. if you live in a big city with lots of lights you might be able to get away with it but if you live in the country were lighting sucks you will most likely regret getting tinted lights.

Dang I just ordered a light bar for the back but I guess 40 bucks isn't bad.

And yeah it's illegal for the black covers during nighttime and when it rains but if you have bright lights that shine through it'll be fine. That's why I was asking where to find some real good/bright bulbs that won't break the bank.

so you are going to install brighter brake light bulbs that i don't think even exist? plus brighter bulbs would also require more power and put out more heat which could melt the light housing or the wiring at your headlight switch unless you install relays which is another expense not mentioned.

Well, i don't need something extremely bright. I just want it enough that it will go through the black headlight/brakelight covers and be able to shine through good at night. What's some options?

Will these work pretty good?

You could go HID with the black lights, but like others have said, you will probably get ticketed or fail inspection (I know I would where I live). Your best bet would be to get just the covers. Take them off at night and you dont have to worry about brighter bulbs.
