Default Lift Kit or Wheel Spacers?

I recently put on new Mud Terrain tires they are 285-75-16 and when I turn sharply they hit against the A-arm. I was thinking about a 2" lift kit or 1"-2" wheel spacers. Any suggestions or comments, looking for any help possible? I have a 2001 Sport.

I personally dislike wheel spacers (I think they wear parts out wayyy too fast). You could look at a level kit. Coil spring spacers are not expensive and will give u about a 2 inch lift in just the front, more than enough for 285s

My 285's didnt rub at all.. The offset of the rims are whats gonna get you away from the rubbing... A leveling kit isnt a bad idea though... Stay away from the spacers.. Ive had more issues then I would like to remember with them.. And I only ran them for less then a week.

I am assuming you are talking about wheel spacers and not coil spacers?

I'm getting 2 inch wheel spacers for the rear of mine and 1.5 inch for the front tomorrow. I been told they put as much wear on the hubs as a different offset wheel does so i'm just going to try it out.

I been looking around and asking questions on these. From their information they gave me i don't see how the wheel spacers put more stress on the hub compared to different/bigger offset wheels. And i wouldn't think you would have too many problems with them if you torque them right and check them after a certain amount of miles. I guess I'll find out when i get them. Lol

I was leaning more towards a lift kit. Is it cheaper to get offset rims or a lift kit? I was gonna do my own work but it seems like the kit is harder to do. Any suggestions?
