Water coming from the AC drain, when it has not been in use..
I just bought a 00 ram 1500 5speed manual, from a private party. I have already diagnosed ( for now) a misfire code, and now I am noticing a puddle of water under the truck... When I looked for the source, I found that it is coming from the short AC drain in the firewall.... The AC has not been used in the past 24 + hours and I have used the heat sporadically. Any Ideas why it would be draining a decent ammount of water?
Thanks for any help!

the fluid that is leaking from the short drain in the firewall is odorless, and colorless.. so my best assumption is that it is water. It is also a slow drip, but my truck has been parked for almost 6 hours and I am now able to see the wetness under the truck when looking at the passenger side.
The heat blows hot and the ac is cold... I am not smelling any coolant in the cab when the heat is on, and no I have not seen the windshield fogging up.

I did have it on defrost last night and earlier today since it was raining.. I will have to see what it does in the next few days.
I am in south-east virginia, near the coast.
Thanks Guys, I appreciate it... Havent even had the truck 24 hours and this is the second issue I have found.. Hoping the engine light will stay off after re setting it this afternoon, and it wont throw the #4 misfire code again...
